EuroNanoMed Management framework
The Network Steering Committee (NSC) is the governing body of EuroNanoMed and has the overall responsibility for taking all the strategic decisions linked to the Initiative, monitoring the progress made towards the achievement of the defined goals of the initiative and providing the Executive Board with general strategic orientations. The NSC will take decisions on all major and strategic issues addressed during the course of the project, which will substantially affect the scope, direction and content of the project.
The Executive Board (EB) is the body responsible for the execution of the project. Its role consists in implementing the work necessary to achieve the objectives of the Initiative, reporting to the NSC and raising any appropriate proposals relevant to the strategy and the conduct of the ERA-Net to the NSC.
The Operating Group (OG) is composed of the coordinator, the Work package leaders and the NSC Chairman. The OG members assist and advise the coordinator, suggesting appropriate solutions to any emerging questions, during the preparation, the implementation and follow up of the EB and NSC meetings.
The External Advisory Board (EAB) is composed of high-level experts from partner countries (2 academics, 2 from industry and 2 from clinical/hospital setting). The EAB is involved in the strategic activities and priorities in order to help in delineating topics for the EuroNanoMed joint trans-national calls and activities.
