The National Centre for Programmes Management (CNMP), Romania, is a legal Romanian public body established by the Government Decision no 1264/2004 to coordinate research programmes under the National Plan(s) for Research, Development & Innovation.
The CNMP’s activity as programmes manager means preparation of calls for proposals, organisation of independent evaluation of proposals, contract negotiation, scientific and financial monitoring of (projects based) programmes and evaluation of programmes implementation, results and impact.
The CNMP has been assigned by the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation / The National Authority for Scientific Research (ANCS) to manage the R&D Programme “Partnerships in Priority S&T Areas/ 2nd National Plan for Research, Development & Innovation (2007-2013).
The R&D Programme “Partnerships in Priority S&T Areas is structured in nine thematic areas, similar to FP7.
The experience as National Programmes manager is complementary to its expertise in international co-operation, partnerships building and networking.
The CNMP is involved as partner and is acting as Funding Agency in ERA-NETs Coordination Actions under ERA-NET Scheme/FP6 and FP7, Art. 169 and Joint Technology Initiatives.
